      Sophronia Griffin died ealy Sunday morning at age 76y 6m 18d. she was the last of 17 children of Anson and Anna (Paige) Giffin of Hardwick, Vt. Son Harry Griffin of North Brookfield and daughter Eva Griffin of Los Angeles, grandaughter Clara May Griffin of North Brookfield survive her. Her husband William Griffin died in California. Body taken to Holliston for burial.;;

Burial was in Lake Grove Cemetery, Holliston, Mass on 18 March. 1908.
